I just sold my GTX 1080ti. And bought a Rtx 3060. And made a $100 on the trade. Then I sold my custom build 2017 pc With the Rtx 3060. And bought a brand new pc with the Rtx3070 and a ryzen 7 and made another $150 on that. So I got a brand new pc and $250 in my pocket. At this point.I have a buyer for my rtx3070 coming later today to pick it up. And then I secured a trade on a rtx3080. For the price of what o sell the RTX 3070 + $200. That puts me with a positive $50 and a brand new computer with a rtx3080. That's how you trade.
Maybe my years of experience trading the stock marked and now crypto marked have paid off trading the hardware marked. Anyway I'm happy with thi!

After waiting 10 hours in the microcenter perking lot, they sold out of the 3070 fright before me and I got the MSI Ventus 3060. I am more then impressed with it, and thanks Linus for reassuring that it’s a good card.

I have the 3060ti and use it with keyshot to do product renders I can say it's DEFINITELY worth the cost ! It's allowed me to cut my render times by more than 80% and also allows me to model while being in the render window ! Highly recommend for any creatives !! Massively improved my workflow

ok so i built my first pc last year about now and i got a 5600xt and 2600x. with these new cards and cpu should i upgrade or just wait a another year or 2. id like to add i play on 1080p still with a 144hz monitor. it is only a 1080p monitor, i should add i get 120 to 144 easy on everything i play. but i am thinking of going to 4k soon. should i just wait till i get a 4k monitor or are ready to get one. cause honestly im think id get the cpu and gpu first for 4k before i get the monitor, or should i get the monitor first then gpu, honestly im not to worrier about my cpu at the momment. im really not 2 worried about any of my gear my id like to hear some other options first before really make a choice.

I have the 1060 3gb short version. It will do VR with the Oculus quest 2 but not very well... Lots of molasses gameplay. :( I am hoping the 3060 will do better but it kinda sucks I just paid like 300 for the 1060 :( If I can ever find one.

The RTX 3060 purports to have 12gb of VRam but what they are not telling people is that it's almost entirely useless because it also has 192 bit bandwidth making it just a slight upgrade from your old, reliable 1060 that grants you unusable access to raytracing and other advanced features that won't work without a wider bandwidth. The 3060TI is a much better choice and if you can put an extra $100.00 or so down the true sweet spot of this generation of Nvidia cards is actually the 3070 line. The 3070 is the card that will carry you for years as a one time investment just like the 1060 did back in the day.
