Best 2 in 1 ?

I know it's annoying with Thinkpads having Fn and Ctrl swapped but you can switch them over in the bios setup. The outside key is still a bit too small then and says "Fn" on it but it's better when switching between machines.

You don't put the "locked into walled ecosystem" as a con. For some people, all the values of other advantages must substantially trump this aspect for them to be able to take the plunge.
I gotta say, windows laptop in 2020 had improved a lot. Thanks to AMD who moved the market to such competitive edge. Amd is the 2020 winner.

Im about to return the M1, it has a lot going for it but compared to my older macbook pro, it doesn't really feel much different experience wise other than obviously the battery life is excellent. The touchpad isn't a game changer but the complete lack of ports is. On top of that, mac osx is starting to really annoy me for a laptop/pc experience. It is such a pain to download software and get it going compared to a windows computer. I want to have control of my computer, not vice versa

Worst laptop is a Dell. I am an ex Dell fanatic having owned 4 Dells in 10 years. This time, sales sent me the wrong batt, email went nowhere and sales support kept passing me to another dept. Will neverr buy a Dell ever again

ThnkPad keyboards outclass everything in my opinion. I really like the page up and page down keys in that position. The Fn and Ctrl keys can be swapped using the Lenovo Vantage software (comes built in and is actually useful) with a simple toggle.
