I worked for Paramount in the 1970s (that surely dates me). I worked for the creative advertising department. I was part of the team that made trailers and television spots for movies about to be released. Some of the movies I was involved in making trailers and TV spots for were Serpico, Murder on The Orient Express, Heaven Can Wait, Harold and Maud, The Love Story, The Day of the Condor and more. So wonderful to see your audit of Paramount. Doesn’t look like much has changed from the vantage point of the sidewalk from which you recorded.

I managed security for several housing projects and a dozen other things, and I will always remember this one woman that came from one of the movie studios; I have seen sidewalk chalk with a higher IQ...just... bless her heart.
She was confused at why I was asking her to work in the evenings FOR A SECOND SHIFT POSITION.

A lot of the LAPD motor units are also retired from the LAPD (that's what the second older officer was referring to when he said that he "has a lot of days of these days off.") As retired motor officers they're allowed to wear their old uniforms and do set security for productions in L.A.

Speaking of the movie coming to America with eddie murphy, There is a real life story that is a bit close to that, just without the rich royal parents. But.. A real african prince from Togo (just like eddie was), named Messan met a pale Danish young lady (Named Inga) in Paris, They fell in love, moved to Denmark and married and got 4 Kids, the oldest commited suicide in 8th grade, later they divorced and he is now living somewhere in America working with computers or programming of sorts. I went to school with 2 of their children, my sister with one of them some 25-28 years ago and actually lived next to them for a short period. It became a story in the national medias here in Denmark around the mid 90´s.. I say pass...most of them took no notice of the camera. The one guard was an idiot, but he ended doing what he should do if he didn't want you filming...close the gate. Didn't call the cops. The cops that were there were polite and ignored you other than friendly banter. Much better response than other earlier audits. And you get an A for being friendly, polite and not needlessly antagonizing them.
